Our goal is to deliver a net zero emissions target for the site.

• Ballyliffin Beach Houses has partnered with Schneider Electric to deliver energy management and home automation to minimise energy use whilst providing all year round comfort

• Modern house build standards with A rated efficiency

• Our heating and hot water is provided largely by renewable energy (solar PV with air-source heat pumps). We do not use fossil fuels to heat or cool the houses

• We have added battery storage to store excess solar PV energy and supply clean energy back to the national grid during lower on site consumption periods

• We provide ePower in partnership with Schneider Electric electric charging (EV) facilities for guests to promote EV usage

• We strive to further reduce our energy usage and monitor site usage to become more efficient
